Administrative Hearing
Administrative hearing lawyers and driver’s license reinstatement in Springfield, IllinoisRestoring Your Driving Privileges
Illinois takes an aggressive stance against drunk driving and serious traffic offenses. The Illinois Secretary of State’s office will invoke its right to suspend or revoke the license of those charged with a DUI or with a history of multiple traffic violations.
If this happens to you, the driver’s license reinstatement lawyers at FeldmanWasser have the experience necessary to skillfully represent you.
Illinois Administrative Hearing Process
The first step in getting back your license is a hearing with the Secretary of State’s office. During the hearing, we’ll present evidence to the Administrative Licensing Judge (ALJ) that you’re a responsible citizen able to handle the responsibility of driving.
This evidence may include reference letters, drug/alcohol evaluations and treatment, and reports of significant changes in your life. If necessary, your lawyer may question the prosecutor and challenge negative reports against you.
